Humber Mobility Centre
Every new and used scooter from Humber Mobility Centre comes with a 12 month warranty from delivery or collection, subject to the terms below. Contact us directly if you need help.
Repair or replacement of eligible mechanical and electrical components following a covered breakdown during the warranty period. Approved labour and call-out costs for a covered fault are included, subject to the warranty limits.
The warranty is supplied by Humber Mobility Ltd trading as Humber Mobility Centre and applies to equipment supplied for private use in the United Kingdom. All warranty enquiries and repair arrangements are handled through us.
Batteries and off-board battery chargers are excluded from this breakdown warranty. Normal loss of battery capacity and reduced range through age, use, storage or charging are not covered.
If a battery or charger develops a fault, contact us so we can assess the cause and any separate guarantee or statutory rights that may apply. Follow the manufacturer's charging, storage and maintenance instructions.
These are exclusions from the breakdown warranty. They do not remove rights you may have for goods that were faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose when supplied.
Take reasonable care of your equipment and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Arrange professional servicing at least annually in line with those instructions, and retain relevant maintenance records.
Contact us promptly when a fault appears and obtain our authorisation before arranging a repair or replacement at our expense. Do not continue using equipment that may be unsafe.
The warranty provides an appropriate repair or replacement of an eligible component, rather than an automatic replacement of the whole scooter. For new equipment, repair or replacement will be to an equivalent condition when new. For equipment bought used, age, condition, wear and depreciation may affect any settlement. The maximum warranty settlement is the price paid for the equipment.
The breakdown warranty is limited to one repair or replacement of the same component within 12 months of its previous warranty repair or replacement. This does not remove your statutory remedies if a repair is unsuccessful or the goods remain faulty.
Repairs depend on suitable parts remaining available. If a part has been discontinued, we will discuss the available options and any statutory remedy that applies.
If an issue falls outside the warranty, we will explain any proposed testing, call-out, collection or repair charges before you agree to them. A remedy that consumer law requires us to provide free of charge is handled separately.
Call 01482 561964 or email info@humbermobility.co.uk. Please provide your order number, make and model, serial number, a description of the problem and when it first appeared. Photographs or a short video can help us assess it.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. A separate manufacturer or battery guarantee may provide additional cover. An exclusion from this warranty does not automatically mean a faulty product has no remedy.
Orders already placed retain the warranty promises agreed at purchase. These terms apply to new orders sold under this warranty description.
Powerchairs advertised with a 12 month warranty use the same breakdown terms. Chair, bed, walking aid and separately purchased battery warranties follow the terms supplied with those products. The scooter breakdown exclusions above do not replace their manufacturer's guarantees.
